Cory Archangel’s old videos

When Cory Archangel gave a presentation at the Museum of Modern Art a few years ago, he mentioned that sometimes with artwork, he tries to find the most efficient way to make a statement, acting as a kind of curator of his or other peoples gestures in some cases. For instance, he reset the chapter settings on a Simon and Garfunkel performs at Central Park DVD to quickly jump to all of the points in the DVD that display Simon and Garfunkel getting mad at each other on stage. This work is interesting, in that many of us have pretty significant video archives of our past, and selecting what is important is in fact curating our upbringing.
