I exhibited in a Group Show called the Summer Salon curated by the confidently bold, young visionary curator at the Gerald Peters Gallery in New York named Kate Werble. It was a chancy exhibition to have at the gallery whose primary meat and potato clientelle focuses on 19th and early 20th century artifacts. The exhibition was a success with hundereds of young and old attendees packed into the two story upper east side gallery (in viewing distance/within one block from central park). Some celebs/models could also be seen enjoying the work, which made it seem even more like a Chelsea or Soho opening. Unexpected for the upper east side, but what a fun night. Another tidbit is that the exhibition was written up highlighting a few of the artists in a front page article of the New York Times Newspaper.
